About
You don’t have to stay adrift.
There is a way forward for you.
Understanding your story is essential to your journey. When you do, you’ll know where you are going.
Therapy creates time and space you’ve been needing to go back and understand your story and to be understood as a person.
We’ll go back in your story until we find out where you drifted.
Once we do, we’ll know the way forward.
As we go back, you’ll see God’s hand in writing the kind of person that you are.
Knowledge will ground you.
As we read your story well, you will have new experiences of yourself and God. As you do, I will help you understand those experiences so that you have knowledge moving forward.
You will know God, yourself, where you are in life, and where you are going. Every day.
When you do, you will experience a brand new life.
We’ll get practical.
When you’ve come to understand your story well, the new experiences of God, and yourself, will change you. As you live in this new way, you’ll grow in the desire to do better things with your life.
We’ll get practical about this. No theory here.
I will help you know exactly what you can do daily to continue your journey, from your spiritual and emotional life, to your relationships, and career choices.
We’ll leave no stone unturned, so that you can make choices for your future that keep you on the path and keep you living the life you are made for.
A bit about me.
I’ve always wanted to know…
Who is God? Why am I here? What makes people really heal and change?
I felt lost like you once, so I devoted my life to answering those questions (and a few others).
I earned a degree at Oregon State University in Biology, while on a premed track to learn as much about the science of healing as I could. Then, I became a vocational counselor. I helped people who had become physically disabled on the job find their way back out of impossible situations into meaningful work that they loved.
I was a case manager for homeless youth and adults for a number of years. I then earned Master’s degrees in Theology and Culture, as well as Counseling Psychology.
After finishing school, I was really unsatisfied with my field, in terms of what it offered. I always wanted to find a program that offered real answers to life’s biggest questions and used biblical knowledge, therapy, and vocational counseling.
Since, I couldn’t find one, I created my own. I’ve worked hard to make this available for you, and I can’t wait to work with you and help you find the life you’ve always wanted.
It’s not all serious.
Though I’m a therapist, I’m also a regular person. Seriously, I don’t live in my office!
I enjoy the outdoors – going hiking or fishing early in the morning. I also enjoy reading everything I can get my hands on and spending time with my family.
